Wonder Terms of Use
Effective Date: September 15, 2026
Welcome to Wonder.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Wonder, including the Wonder mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Wonder is operated by Alpine Labs Inc., a Colorado corporation (“Wonder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using Wonder, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About Wonder
Wonder is a private digital space designed to help parents, guardians, family members, and others capture, organize, preserve, and share family memories.
Users may create family spaces, add child profiles, upload photos and videos, record parent notes and kid quotes, create and view recaps, invite family members, and use other features we make available.
Wonder family spaces are private and are not intended to be publicly discoverable.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Wonder account.
If you are under 18, you may use Wonder only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Wonder is designed primarily for parents, guardians, and family members. It is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create their own Wonder accounts.
By using Wonder, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Your Account
You may create an account using an email address or supported third-party authentication service, such as Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
If you believe someone has gained unauthorized access to your account, contact us at hello@joinwonder.app.
4. Family Spaces
Wonder allows users to create and participate in private family spaces.
A family space may have a primary account holder or owner who controls that family space. The owner may invite other users to participate, remove invited users, manage access, and remove content contributed to the family space.
An account may participate in multiple family spaces.
Invited family members may view, contribute to, download, or share content according to the permissions and features available within that family space.
When you invite someone to a family space, you are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to provide their email address to Wonder for purposes of sending and managing the invitation.
If you are removed from a family space, you may lose access to content stored within that family space.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, parent notes, kid quotes, profile information, and other content you upload or create through Wonder (“User Content”).
Wonder does not take ownership of your User Content.
By adding User Content to Wonder, you grant Alpine Labs Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
This license ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except where limited retention is reasonably necessary for backups, legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, or similar purposes.
We do not sell your private family memories.
We do not use your private photos, videos, parent notes, kid quotes, or other memory content to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models unless we separately ask for and receive your explicit permission.
6. Content About Children and Other People
Wonder allows parents and family members to preserve memories involving children and other people.
You are responsible for the content you upload and represent that you have the rights, authority, or appropriate permission necessary to upload, store, and share that content through Wonder.
This includes photos, videos, names, profile information, quotes, and other information involving children, relatives, friends, classmates, or other individuals.
Parents and guardians are responsible for determining what information about their children they choose to store and share through Wonder.
7. Sharing and Downloading Content
Wonder family spaces are private, but users may intentionally download, export, or share content outside Wonder using available sharing features.
Once you choose to share content outside Wonder, that content may be handled by another person, application, platform, or service. Wonder cannot control how third parties use content after you choose to share it outside the Service.
Users who access or download content belonging to other members of a family space are expected to respect the privacy and rights of the individuals depicted or described in that content.
8. Recaps and Automated Features
Wonder may use automated technology to create features such as monthly or yearly recaps.
These features may use information associated with your memories, such as dates, organization, and other metadata, to select and arrange memories.
Automated features may not always be complete, accurate, or reflect the selections you would personally make. You remain in control of your memories and how you choose to use or share generated recaps.
Private family memories are not used to train AI models unless you separately and explicitly opt in to such use.
9. Subscriptions
Certain Wonder features require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are associated with a family space. Invited family members may participate in a family space under the family owner’s active subscription without purchasing a separate subscription for that family space.
The price, billing period, and applicable subscription terms are displayed before you complete your purchase.
We may change subscription pricing or offerings in the future. Any changes will apply as permitted by applicable law and the policies of the platform through which you purchased your subscription.
10. Free Trial
Wonder currently offers eligible users a 14-day free trial.
When starting a trial, you select the subscription plan that will begin when the trial ends.
Unless you cancel before the end of the trial, your selected paid subscription will automatically begin and your Apple App Store payment method will be charged.
If you cancel during the trial, you may continue using Wonder through the remainder of the trial period. After the trial ends, the applicable family space will move to read-only access unless another active subscription applies.
We may modify, limit, or discontinue free-trial offers in the future. The trial terms displayed when you begin your trial will apply to that trial.
11. Automatic Renewal and Cancellation
Wonder subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with Apple’s subscription policies.
You may manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account subscription settings.
If you cancel a paid subscription, you will retain paid access through the end of your current billing period.
After the paid subscription period ends, the applicable family space will become read-only. Existing memories will remain available to view, but family members will not be able to add new memories or use features requiring an active subscription.
Cancellation does not automatically delete your account or memories.
12. Payments and Refunds
Wonder does not directly collect or store your credit or debit card information for App Store subscriptions.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Apple’s applicable payment, billing, cancellation, and refund policies apply to those transactions.
Refund requests for App Store purchases should be submitted through Apple and are subject to Apple’s policies and applicable law.
13. Account and Content Deletion
You may delete individual memories or your Wonder account using the controls available within the app.
When you delete User Content, we intend to permanently remove it from active Wonder systems, subject to limited retention where necessary for protected backups, legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes.
When you delete your account, we intend to delete your personal information and User Content associated with that account, subject to the same limited exceptions.
Deleting an account may affect content and family spaces shared with other users.
14. Acceptable Use
You may not use Wonder to:
Upload or distribute illegal, exploitative, abusive, threatening, or harmful content;
Upload content that sexually exploits or endangers a child;
Harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm another person;
Infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
Access another user’s account or family space without authorization;
Attempt to bypass, disrupt, damage, reverse engineer, or compromise the Service or its security;
Introduce malware or malicious code;
Use Wonder for unlawful commercial activity, fraud, or other illegal purposes; or
Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law.
We may remove content or restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, children, Wonder, or others; investigate misuse or security threats; enforce these Terms; or comply with law.
If we become aware of child sexual exploitation or other content that we are legally required to report, preserve, or disclose, we may take appropriate action and cooperate with law enforcement or other authorities as required by law.
15. Wonder’s Intellectual Property
Except for User Content, Wonder and its software, interfaces, designs, graphics, branding, trademarks, logos, features, technology, and other materials are owned by Alpine Labs Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Wonder for your personal and family use.
This license does not give you ownership of any part of Wonder.
16. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, feedback, or recommendations about Wonder, you agree that we may use them to develop, improve, or operate Wonder without restriction or compensation to you.
17. Third-Party Services
Wonder may rely on third-party services for functionality such as authentication, hosting, infrastructure, analytics, diagnostics, subscriptions, and payment processing.
Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
You agree to comply with applicable third-party terms when using Wonder.
18. Changes to the Service
Wonder will evolve over time.
We may add, modify, improve, replace, or discontinue features or portions of the Service. Where a change materially affects a paid service, we will handle that change in accordance with applicable law and relevant platform requirements.
We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
19. Service Availability
We work to make Wonder reliable and secure, but no software or online service is guaranteed to operate without interruption, delay, error, or data loss.
Wonder may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, third-party service interruptions, security issues, or circumstances outside our control.
You should maintain copies of content that is especially important to you.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wonder is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Alpine Labs Inc. disclaims warranties not expressly provided in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms limits warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alpine Labs Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Wonder.
We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, actions taken by other users with whom you choose to share content, or third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.
22. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information Wonder collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you.
By using Wonder, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Wonder evolves or as legal, regulatory, or operational requirements change.
If we make material changes, we may notify you through Wonder, by email, or through another reasonable method.
The updated Terms will identify their effective date.
Your continued use of Wonder after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
24. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes arising from these Terms or Wonder will be handled in the applicable state or federal courts located in Colorado.
Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction.
25. Apple App Store Terms
If you download or use Wonder through Apple’s App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Alpine Labs Inc., not Apple.
Alpine Labs Inc., not Apple, is responsible for Wonder and its content, maintenance and support, and addressing claims relating to the app, except as otherwise required by applicable law.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for Wonder.
If Wonder fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as provided under its applicable policies. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Wonder.
You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated by the U.S. government as supporting terrorism and that you are not listed on a U.S. government prohibited or restricted-party list.
You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Wonder.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce applicable provisions of these Terms against you.
